If It’s Not Grown, It’s Mined.

The world is racing to decarbonise, electrify, and digitalise, all at once. Every one of those ambitions depends on metals that come out of the ground. Without them, the future we aspire to is delayed. Or it doesn’t happen.

The Critical Minerals Podcast is where the world’s leading strategists, operators, policymakers, and investors come together to tackle the biggest resource challenge since the Industrial Revolution.

The Biggest Challenge Nobody’s Talking About

Right now, the world is attempting three transformations simultaneously — decarbonisation, electrification, and digitalisation — while the metals that make them possible are being weaponised in trade wars, supply chains are being forcibly restructured along geopolitical lines, communities are determining which mines get built and which don’t, precious metals continue to underpin global currencies, and the funding models that historically financed new supply are fundamentally broken.

This isn’t a niche industry problem. It’s a defining challenge of our generation — touching energy, defence, technology, finance, and geopolitics. And it’s not getting the conversation it deserves… Until now…

The Conversation That Should Be Happening

The Critical Minerals Podcast brings together the world’s leading thinkers on critical minerals, mining, geopolitics, and global supply chains for the strategic conversation that should be happening at the highest levels.

This isn’t a news recap. It’s not promotional. And it’s not surface-level.

It’s ideas-led, built around the tensions, uncertainties, and big questions that investors, policymakers, and industry leaders are grappling with. We go where the interesting tension is, and we stay there long enough to say something that matters.

Joe Webb

Joe Webb

Host

Twenty years across every side of the mining industry, from greenfields exploration to operating mines alongside the world’s largest producers, from some of Australia’s most prominent boardrooms to the White House and the Pentagon. Founder of public and private companies across gold, copper, zinc, diamonds, iron ore, nickel, and coal. He oversaw the largest Chinese government foreign investment into minerals exploration in Australia and today holds the largest critical metals rights to claims in the United States. Joe started this podcast because the industry is broken, the supply chains the world needs aren’t being built, and he’s curious about what it’s going to take to fix it.
